Sandfly Circus Show - Silly Plonkers - Sept 2021

Transported to the dreamlike, sugar-rush wonder of Plonkerland, Broome’s own young performers thrilled and delighted. But something was not quite right in Plonkerland, and too many lollies landed these kids in a fair bit of trouble!

Little Shop of Horrors meets Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, Silly Plonkers was an electrifying performance with live music, high-flying acrobatics, elaborate chase scenes, and larger-than-life lollies - a smorgasbord of all things circus!

Directed by award-winning artists from Splash Test Dummies, (Broome local and Sandfly Alumni Rowan Thomas with Jamie Bretman) and with aerial direction by Broome local and Sandfly Alumni Crystal Stacey, this collaborative production was a fitting showcase for the creativity, hard work, and circus abilities of the Act Belong Commit Sandfly Circus students in 2021.
