Sometimes Jordan is a filmmaker making artistic films about social issues. Sometimes Jordan is a media creative designing cross-platform community engagement and empowerment projects for NGOs and other organisations. And sometimes Jordan is a story activist, specializing in participatory storytelling with people at the periphery. She teaches them how to use story and technology to produce their own media, build capacity through creative expression and vitalise their identity. Wearing these different hats Jordan has co-created with public housing communities, women in Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, people with psychosis, inmates, refugees, orphans in Uganda and the elderly in nursing homes.
