Jael Johnson first became involved with Theatre Kimberley in 2015 when she worked as Productions Manager for Bust Out Cabaret, and which she has continued
to do ever since!
In February 2016, Jael joined Theatre Kimberley as the Business and Office Manager, 2 days a week.
Working for Theatre Kimberley sees a formal return to theatre for Jael who graduated from Murdoch University in the nineties, with an Arts Degree in Theatre and Literature.
Straight afterwards, Jael co-ran an environmental childrens theatre called CARE (Conservation and Recycling Education) for two and a half years. Jael then went on to work for environment, human rights and Indigenous Rights Not-For-Profit organisations until 2009, when she moved to Broome.
Jael now works alongside Meredith Bell (Artistic Director) managing the Business and Operational side of Theatre Kimberley, on a Monday, Thursday and Friday.
