Flippin Fish was written and directed by Rowan Thomas and Frank Batty as mentored Jens Altheimer. It was a funny and beautiful show held at Broome Senior High School gymnasium and performed by the Sandfly Circus. 10 Indigenous students from One Arm Point School who had been participating in the Theatre Kimberley Outreach programme where also part of the performance.
It was about two men who go fishing (a Broome favourite pastime) and find themselves pulled into an underwater world where they meet all sorts of characters, even a gluttonous King Neptune.
