Worn Art - Broome's Spectacular Wearable Art Event

What is Worn Art?
For the past fourteen years, one of the main activities of Theatre Kimberley has been the highly successful annual community event, Act Belong Commit Worn Art which has had a huge following in the community. It helped generate approximately 1640 different artworks, worked with approximately 2700 different performers and models, and entertained approximately 20,000 audience members. ABC Worn Art was an eagerly awaited event that engaged community members from all walks of life in the creation and exhibition of wearable artworks.

2011 saw the final ABC Worn Art production which was a retrospective exhibition of 180 works that had previously been exhibited in ABC Worn Art events. We have many fond memories of this wonderful event.

We thank the Broome Community who have helped make this event so successful with their incredibly generous support.
